In partnership with BethWall Green Climbing Centre: A climbing performance and injury prevention workshop.

foundations of a strong climber

We were delighted to partner with BethWall Green for an interactive workshop exploring how shoulder, elbow and wrist stability can improve grip strength, climbing performance and reduce the risk of climbing injuries.

The evening combined practical demonstrations with research-led rehabilitation principles to help climbers better understand the role of the upper limb in creating a strong, efficient foundation for movement. Rather than focusing solely on the fingers, we explored how improving stability throughout the kinetic chain can enhance performance on the wall while reducing injury risk.

Attendees left with practical exercises and evidence-based strategies to incorporate into their own training, helping them climb stronger, move more efficiently and stay injury-free.

HOW TO STAY INJURY FREE AS A TRIATHLETE

We were pleased to partner with London Fields Triathlon Club for an interactive workshop focused on helping triathletes train consistently, reduce injury risk and improve performance through physio.

The session explored the biomechanics of running and swimming, highlighting common injuries experienced by endurance athletes and the key muscle groups that underpin efficient movement. Using theory combined with practical demonstrations, attendees learnt how to build resilience, improve movement quality and integrate simple injury prevention strategies into their training.

The workshop concluded with easy and practical take-home exercises to support their training, helping triathletes to keep training throughout the season.

A collaborative workshop with Les Running Club x ON

understanding foot biomechanics and injury prevention

In collaboration with ON Running and Les Running Club, we hosted an interactive workshop exploring how to reduce running injuries and improve long-term performance.

The session looked at how the body and running shoes work together, explaining why common running injuries such as knee pain, shin splints and Achilles pain are often the result of repeated load rather than a single incident. After testing different ON running shoes for a 3 km run around Victoria Park, we discussed the importance of movement quality, load management and targeted strength training to improve running efficiency and resilience.

The key takeaway message was simple: running alone isn't enough. Incorporating strength and rehabilitation-based exercises alongside your running is one of the most effective ways to reduce injury risk, stay consistent with training and perform at your best.
